Smart Pens offer a number of opportunities to enhance the student learning experience. In brief, Smart Pens record your handwritten notes and synchronise with audio. You can then share with others, either as a PDF (notes only), sound file (audio only), or as a Pencast (both notes and audio). Recordings can be uploaded online and shared with others either through direct files or links.
Currently Smart Pens are being trialled within the Polytechnic to support workplace visits and to assist students who have literacy / numeracy issues. If you'd like to know more or have a chat with a team trialling pens, contact your local Resource Development Advisor.
